Hi!
My name is Allan and I'm a 32yr old PC Analyst and I live in the Heart of Dixie (Alabama). I'm
very happily married to my wife Lela (going on 9yrs now and just seems like yesterday) and have two great
kids (boy 11 & girl 8). I enjoy Photography (mostly sunsets, sunrises, waterfalls), Arts & Crafts, model
rockets and computer games. I also enjoy meeting new friends on the Net and sharing thoughts, jokes
or what have you via email. ; )
Back about 10yrs ago I was really into the Darkroom scene, had
all the equipment and spent almost ever waking hour taking pictures or in the Darkroom developing them.
After I got married I just didn't have that kinda time anymore, so now I'm trying out the digital side
of things. I must admit it's alot quicker, doesn't take near as much time and it's really, really fun.
~WoW~ You can even take those naughty pictures you've always wanted too and don't have to worry about
who's going to see them. *BEG*
On my crafty side I like to do alittle wood-working. I've made
a couple of curio cabinets for my wife and love to make animated Christmas cut-outs for the yard. Another
neat little item I like making is to take somebodies favorite cartoon-character scan it into the computer
and create a smaller image or scene. Print it out and transfer it to the wood stock and cut it out using
a scroll saw. I have some pictures posted here of some of my creations. If you have any ideas you'd
like to swap or just throw out there please drop me an email or leave them in my address book.
